References Required For Beginners Filmmaker

As a coach extracurricular movies, at the beginning of community meetings I usually play the films selected. Friends of extracurricular participants need to get good references before starting study film. Such as Quentin Tarantino, if you want to learn ya movie movie. By watching we can reference and build up taste.

I always distinguish between learning videography to study filmmaking. Different!
Videography is a matter of tools. Film is all about storytelling. But a filmmaker will automatically learn videography while not necessarily videographer.

 

There are at least 3 films shall I spinned for friends:




1. Super 8 (J.J Abrams)

2. Be Kind Rewind (Michel Gondry)

3. Cinema Paradiso (Giusseppe Tornatore)


Why the 3 movie?

Because the three films was nice and also talked about filmmaking.

so just make a movie like the author of this article.
